Arabic IDN Development and Investment
I see a great opportunity here! IDN's have been around for a while now but many premium domains remain undeveloped and simply parked earning not much more than the cost of renewing the domain. My mission is to find top-tier Arabic domains and either acquire them or develop them by partnering with the domain owners.
Why develop when you can simply park the domain?
There are two main reasons I believe IDN's should be developed and not simply parked. Firstly, developing the domain will enable it to produce much greater revenues than a parked domain can with generic advertisements. Even a simple landing page in the language of the domain with targeted adverts would be a great improvement. These developed domains will attain rankings on the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page) thereby maturing the domain name. The maturation of the domain will be enhanced if the domain is developed into a full site as pagerank will increase when it contains content of value.
Secondly, IDN's are still virtually in their infancy and the only people currently flocking to IDNs are domain name speculators. If people don't start seeing websites with domain names in their language, then IDNs will not gain traction. If developed IDNs start appearing in the SERPs, then IDNs will become more familiar and popular and thereby more valuable.
